| Introduced in 1972, the A series Royal
Oak is identifiable by the location of
the Audemars Piguet logo at 6 rather
than 12, as found on later examples.
The Royal Oak was the first luxury sports
watch launched and is today considered
a cult classic among enthusiasts. Fewer
than 1000 examples of the A series are
believed to have been manufactured. |
