BULOVA ACCUTRON OWNED BY JOE DIMAGGIO STEEL Bulova, case No. 3-844388. Made in the 1970’s. Fine and rare, asymmetrical, electronic, center-seconds, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch on the original Accutron strap with steel Accutron buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box, outer paper box, guarantee and instruction booklet, original extra power cell in a sleeve, two original tags and a letter of provenance signed by the granddaughters of Joe DiMaggio.
C. Two-body, polished and brushed, lapidated lugs, back winder and hand-setting bow. D. Skeleton with luminous baton indexes, outer minutes/seconds divisions. Luminous white baton hands. M. Rhodium-plated with diapason tuning fork for swinging element, frequency of 360 Hz. Case, dial and movement signed. DIAM. 35 x 43 mm. THICKNESS 13mm.

The present lot was formerly the property of legendary baseball Hall of Famer, Joe DiMaggio. The watch is in exceptional new-oldstock condition, factory complete as originally collected by Mr. DiMaggio and still retains the blue-tack on the sides of the case.
